Meet our Guide and Play Facilitator 

Shelby Rickley

Others may know me as the owner, director, and teacher at Seedlings Preschool. I see myself in many different ways throughout the school day. First and foremost, I am a facilitator of safe and free play. Through students' play and discovery, I am also a co-traveler on their path because I am also playing, discovering, and learning along with them. - Shelby

​Shelby received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Education and Human Science from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a major in Child, Youth, and Family Studies and a minor in Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship. She received her Master's of Education from Concordia University Nebraska with a major in Early Childhood Education.

Outside of school Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband (Thomas) and daughter (Kinsley). The Rickley's enjoy being with their animals on their acreage, as well as with family and friends. Shelby also likes cheering on the Huskers and Chiefs.
